SEECP Ministerial Justice and Home Affairs

The Ministry of Justice together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs organize in Bucharest, at the Palace of Parliament, on 29th of May, the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Ministerial Justice and Home Affairs Conference. The event will be opened by the Deputy Prime Minister for Homeland Security and Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Gabriel Oprea, and by the Minister of Justice, Mr. Robert Cazanciuc.
Keynote speeches will also be addressed by Mr. Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr. Vladislav Hamran, Vice-president of EUROJUST, Mr. Goran Svilanovic, Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).
The event is part of the calendar set up by Romania, as holder of the SEECP chairmanship-in-office, and brings together ministers, state secretaries and experts from Justice and Home Affairs Ministries from SEECP participating states and international organizations and partners. During the meeting, the Joint Declaration of the Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs of the SEECP participating states will be negotiated and adopted.
